In Calvados, the Donjon de Lars campsite (formerly the Champs de Course campsite) is at an ideal seaside location with direct access to the beach of Courseulles sur Mer! Just 800 metres from the town centre and the port, the campsite proposes rentals of fully-equipped units.
The campsite features a water park comprising a heated outdoor swimming pool, double waterslides, and a Space Bowl slide that older children will love!
Courseulles sur Mer is a beautiful seaside resort on the Mother-of-Pearl Coast in Normandy. The two sandy beaches invite holidaymakers to swim, top up their tan and play games on the beach. For watersports fans, the sailing centre, whose superb architecture emerges from the dunes, proposes a host of activities for children and adults: Optimist sailing, mini-windsurfing, diving, canoeing, sea kayaking, sandyachting, etc. Amid the beaches where the landings took place on 6th June 1944, you’ll discover places that are steeped in history and the famous shores of Omaha Beach, Utah Beach and Juno Beach. The Caen Memorial 20km away is a tourist attraction and one of Normandy’s must-visit cultural sites. It overlooks 35 hectares of grounds, including the American, Canadian and British gardens that pay tribute to the soldiers lost at war. Nearby, you can visit Bayeux with its picturesque half-timbered houses and narrow streets, or Arromanches, where you can admire the remains of a makeshift harbour which was installed during the war.
This region promises a whole host of tourist attractions, cultural tours and sporting pursuits. Between history tours and fun activities on the beach, it is an ideal destination for an enriching holiday.

The campsite has several water slides, which you can view in the pictures above.
The Spacebowl is a sensational slide where you will move swiftly down a path to arrive in a large bowl. The winner is the person who makes the most laps! (Minimum height requirement : 1m20)
For the little ones, there is a play island with water slides where they can have their very first sliding experience. This small island is perfect for children aged between 3 and 6 years old, as the shallow water allows children to safely walk in the ent
A paddling pool complete with its own water slide, otherwise known as the snake, for children under the age of 6. Children can swim and slide in the safety of this attraction.

Please bring a swimsuit (brief or fitted boxer style). For hygiene reasons, long clothing is not allowed in the pools (shorts, underwear, wetsuits, swim skirts, bermuda shorts, regular clothing, full-coverage swimsuits, etc.).
Young children must wear swim diapers specifically designed for water use.
Wearing the wristband is mandatory.
Children who cannot swim must wear armbands at all times.

People have different expectations when it comes to their holidays. Some prefer quiet holidays where they spend time with family and relax. Others prefer sports and a party atmosphere.
With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.
No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.
On this campsite, the fun dose is blue, the campsite is lively.
From 6th July to 28th August 2026, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
- The Clapou Club for 4–10 year olds welcomes your children 4 days a week from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and from 3 p.m.–5 p.m.
- The Nobodys (11-17 years old) meet at least once a week.
- Two or three activity leaders are present on the campsite all summer. Sports tournaments and friendly entertainment are organised throughout the day.
- Three big evening events are organised per week, we will also surprise you with our top secret entertainment and the summer dance.
In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 3rd July to 30th August 2028.
