Le Havre de Bernières is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The pitches are spacious and well laid out, while many of the mobile homes are new, offering all the comfort you need in a calm, green setting.

Close to the famous D-Day landing beaches of 6 June 1944, you will discover iconic historical sites such as Juno Beach, just minutes away, as well as Omaha Beach and Utah Beach, which bear witness to key events of World War II. Just 20 km away, the Caen Memorial offers an immersive historical experience, with memorial gardens dedicated to American, Canadian and British soldiers across 35 hectares.

The region is also a playground for water sports enthusiasts. From land sailing and paddleboarding to sailing, kitesurfing and canoeing, there’s something for everyone along the vast sandy beaches. For walkers and cyclists, the coastal paths offer breathtaking views.

Nearby, don’t miss Bayeux, famous for its medieval tapestry and charming timber-framed houses, or Arromanches, where the remains of the artificial harbour built during the war can still be seen.

Food lovers will enjoy the Asnelles oysters, best paired with a glass of vintage Calvados, to be discovered in authentic places such as the Groult distillery.
