Located on the Arcachon Bay, a popular tourist destination in the west of France.
Located on the edge of Arcachon Bay in the west of France with more than a mile of seafront, Le Roumingue holiday park extends over an area of 79 acres (32 hectares). One of the most beautiful natural sites in Gironde, between land and sea, is located 40 minutes from Arcachon, 21 minutes from Lège-Cap-Ferret, and less than 3 miles (5 km) from Andernos-les-Bains. 218 yards (200m) from Arcachon Bay by foot via the Chemin du Littoral, this holiday park offers mobile home and apartment rentals.
Roumingue holiday park has two large water parks which consist of an indoor swimming pool heated all year round, an outdoor swimming pool, a paddling pool, and water slides that will delight the whole family (our Viper slide is for the little ones and our Spacebowl slide is for the thrill seekers). There is also a lake with its fine sand beach, ideal for sandcastle building competitions!
Whether for family outings or sportier bike rides, the Arcachon Basin benefits from a vast network of cycle paths of more than 124 miles (200 km). Take advantage of pedestrian walking paths to discover the incredible landscapes of the Arcachon Bay. An enclave bordering the largest European forest, the Dune du Pilat, with a height of 351 feet (107 metres), is the largest sand dune in Europe. It offers a very beautiful panorama of the entire bay as well as the ocean. Visit the Teich Ornithological Park and treat your children to an afternoon exploring the adventure pool or the Accrobranche Park.

People have different expectations when it comes to their holidays. Some prefer quiet holidays where they spend time with family and relax. Others prefer sports and a party atmosphere.
With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.
No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.
On this campsite the Fun Dose is red. This means there is a lot of entertainment provided!
From 6th July to 28th August 2026, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children 4 days a week, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.
-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 entertainers, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!
-Entertainment on French campsites starts from the 8th July (in French). On Dutchbox campsites the French animation team includes 1 Dutch speaking entertainer.
In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 3rd July to 30th August 2026.

This campsite comprises a large natural lagoon of fine sand and delivers a beach atmosphere on the campsite whilst allowing younger children the enjoyment of building sand castles.
The campsite has several water slides, which you can view in the pictures above.
The Spacebowl is a sensational slide where you will move swiftly down a path to arrive in a large bowl. The winner is the person who makes the most laps! (Minimum height requirement : 1m20)
For the little ones, there is a play island with water slides where they can have their very first sliding experience. This small island is perfect for children aged between 3 and 6 years old, as the shallow water allows children to safely walk in the ent
A paddling pool complete with its own water slide, otherwise known as the snake, for children under the age of 6. Children can swim and slide in the safety of this attraction.

Please bring a swimsuit (brief or fitted boxer style). For hygiene reasons, long clothing is not allowed in the pools (shorts, underwear, wetsuits, swim skirts, bermuda shorts, regular clothing, full-coverage swimsuits, etc.).
Young children must wear swim diapers specifically designed for water use.
Wearing the wristband is mandatory.
Children who cannot swim must wear armbands at all times.
A natural seawater swimming area is open continuously with its own private sandy beach. Children who cannot swim and wear a red bracelet must wear armbands. (available at reception).
