Camping de Scheepsbel is located in the middle of the Veluwe. It's an amazing place to walk and enjoy nature. The campsite is surrounded by forests, heathland and a sand garden with animals. In addition, the Scheepsbel has a beautiful indoor playground. Starting at Ascension, the Scheepsbel will have 2 new pools totaling 490 m2. That's twice as big as before!

Camping De Scheepsbel - Your holiday in Doornspijk

An ideal location on the banks of the Veluwe. 


The De Scheepsbel campsite is located in Nunspeet, a magnificent location on the banks of the Veluwe. The campsite proposes luxury accommodation and spacious pitches.

It has a heated swimming pool with a beautiful waterslide. Young children can make the most of the fun paddling pool. The water park is surrounded by a lovely sun-drenched lawn.

Children will be delighted by the campsite’s many play areas. A magnificent pirate ship with slides, a number of small play features and some beautiful sports pitches offer children a chance to let off steam. Not to mention the large indoor play area, De Speelpiraat, with a real-life pirates’ island!

Nunspeet is near the town of Elburg, one of the most remarkable of the Netherlands’ ancient Hanseatic towns. The campsite is the perfect base from which to visit the nearby towns such as Nunspeet, Zwolle, Apeldoorn and Harderwijk. Nature fans will love being able to walk into the countryside straight from the campsite. The park is surrounded by forests, heathland and sand.

The campsite is close to a number of major theme parks, including Walibi World, Dolfinarium and Apenheul. Ideal for family outings!

With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.

No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.

 

On this campsite the Fun Dose is red. This means there is a lot of entertainment provided!

From 6th July to 28th August 2026, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:

-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children 4 days a week, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. 

-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.

-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 entertainers, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!

-Entertainment on French campsites starts from the 8th July (in French). On Dutchbox campsites the French animation team includes 1 Dutch speaking entertainer.

In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 3rd July to 30th August 2026.
