The campsite Le Bois Joly **** is ideally located in Saint-Jean-de-Monts, on the magnificent Vendée coast. Only 1.5 km from the city centre and 2 km from the beaches, perfect for holidays with family or friends!
The Bois Joly has an exceptional aquatic area for the pleasure of all. You will find an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor pool, and several paddling pools. Thrill seekers will appreciate the 5 water slides, including the famous Spacebowl. For moments of relaxation, enjoy the river against the current, the river with buoys (available in July/August).
The campsite is perfectly equipped to entertain both young and old. Children can have fun in the new large playground. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the multisport pitch (from 5 July) and the table tennis tables.
The proximity to tourist sites such as the Île de Noirmoutier and the Île d'Yeu makes it an ideal starting point for exploring the region. PEAK SEASON : The fun dose
People have different expectations when it comes to their holidays. Some prefer quiet holidays where they spend time with family and relax. Others prefer sports and a party atmosphere.
With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.
No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.
On this campsite, the fun dose is blue, the campsite is lively.
From 6th July to 28th August 2026, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
- The Clapou Club for 4–10 year olds welcomes your children 4 days a week from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and from 3 p.m.–5 p.m.
- The Nobodys (11-17 years old) meet at least once a week.
- Two or three activity leaders are present on the campsite all summer. Sports tournaments and friendly entertainment are organised throughout the day.
- Three big evening events are organised per week, we will also surprise you with our top secret entertainment and the summer dance.
In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 3rd July to 30th August 2028.

The Spacebowl is a sensational slide where you will move swiftly down a path to arrive in a large bowl. The winner is the person who makes the most laps! (Minimum height requirement : 1m20)

Please bring a swimsuit (brief or fitted boxer style). For hygiene reasons, long clothing is not allowed in the pools (shorts, underwear, wetsuits, swim skirts, bermuda shorts, regular clothing, full-coverage swimsuits, etc.).
Young children must wear swim diapers specifically designed for water use.
Wearing the wristband is mandatory.
Children who cannot swim must wear armbands at all times.
You can also enjoy swimming upstream in the river.
