Camping Forges - Your holiday in Avrille

Situated in the city of Avrillé, just 5.5 miles from the vast beaches of the Vendée department in the west of France



On the Atlantic coast, built around a 16th-century manor house, just 9km from the beaches of the Vendée, the Domaine des Forges offers mobile homes, caravans and dungeons for rent.

The campsite has an extensive water park with a thrilling "SpaceBowl" slide, 3 water slides, 3 heated outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool with a whirlpool bath, a children’s pool with a water slide, and a fun paddling pool for young children.


Vendée, with its beautiful sandy beaches (Longeville sur Mer, Les Sables d'Olonne, La Tranche sur Mer), its superb islands, including the islands of Yeu and Noirmoutier, and the famous Marais Poitevin (the water meadows of Poitevin). A host of watersports and other activities are available: excursions, walks, boat trips, and bike rides along the cycle paths and mountain bike trails. Explore the cultural heritage with castles like Talmont or Guignardière, religious monuments, and windmills.

With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.

No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.

 

On this campsite the Fun Dose is red. This means there is a lot of entertainment provided!

From 29th June to 28th August 2026, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:

-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children 4 days a week, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. 

-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.

-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 entertainers, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!

-Entertainment on French campsites starts from the 8th July (in French). On Dutchbox campsites the French animation team includes 1 Dutch speaking entertainer.

In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 3rd July to 30th August 2026.

The Spacebowl is a sensational slide where you will move swiftly down a path to arrive in a large bowl. The winner is the person who makes the most laps! (Minimum height requirement : 1m20)
A paddling pool complete with its own water slide, otherwise known as the snake, for children under the age of 6. Children can swim and slide in the safety of this attraction.

Ideal for children under 3 years of age, our colourful and playful paddling pool allows toddlers to experience the joys of swimming with their parents.

In need of a little 'you' time? Enjoy our hot tub for a few blissful moments. (Heated)

Please bring a swimsuit (brief or fitted boxer style). For hygiene reasons, long clothing is not allowed in the pools (shorts, underwear, wetsuits, swim skirts, bermuda shorts, regular clothing, full-coverage swimsuits, etc.).
Young children must wear swim diapers specifically designed for water use.
Wearing the wristband is mandatory.
Children who cannot swim must wear armbands at all times.
