Camping Madrague - Your holiday in Pornic

Only campsite in Pornic, facing the Atlantic Ocean


Overlooking the Ocean from a clifftop in Loire Atlantique, the Madrague campsite proposes rentals of mobile homes, gypsy caravans and camping pitches. From the campsite you can join a coastal path which leads to 2 coves. You’ll find larger beaches 500 metres away. In July and August, arrivals are allowed on Saturdays and Sundays.

The campsite features a water park with a heated outdoor swimming pool, a heated indoor pool, 2 waterslides, a paddling pool for children aged 2 to 6 years, and a children’s pool with a waterslide.

 

Pornic is the ideal starting point for discovering the entire Jade Coast shoreline. With direct access to the GR34 hiking trail and the Vélodyssée cycling route, you can explore the coastal landscapes on foot or by bike. Water sports enthusiasts can also enjoy sailing, paddleboarding, kayaking, or sea fishing.

Many cultural and historical visits await you, including the Château de Pornic. Let yourself be charmed by the region’s natural beauty with excursions to Noirmoutier, Préfailles, or Saint-Brevin-les-Pins. You can also discover Guérande and its famous salt marshes, a must-see part of the regional heritage.

From 29th June to 28th August 2026, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
- The Clapou Club for 4–10 year olds welcomes your children 4 days a week from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and from 3 p.m.–5 p.m.
- The Nobodys (11-17 years old) meet at least once a week.
- Two or three activity leaders are present on the campsite all summer. Sports tournaments and friendly entertainment are organised throughout the day. 
- Three big evening events are organised per week, we will also surprise you with our top secret entertainment and the summer dance.

In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 3rd July to 30th August 2028.

Explore the Treasures of the Jade Coast!

Discover the wonders of the Côte de Jade, a region rich in discoveries right at your fingertips! Stroll through the charming old port of Pornic, admire its boats and typical architecture. Just 4 km away, the majestic Pornic Castle overlooks the port, offering a picturesque view. Don't miss the typical fisherman's huts on stilts along the Sentier des Douaniers (GR34), directly accessible and ideal for scenic walks. The creeks at the foot of the campsite invite you to swim 🏊, and Gohaud Beach in Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef, with its rocky cliffs, is perfect for relaxation. Also explore the Faïencerie de Pornic (4 km) or have fun at the Pop Corn Labyrinthe (4 km).

The Spacebowl is a sensational slide where you will move swiftly down a path to arrive in a large bowl. The winner is the person who makes the most laps! (Minimum height requirement : 1m20)

Please bring a swimsuit (brief or fitted boxer style). For hygiene reasons, long clothing is not allowed in the pools (shorts, underwear, wetsuits, swim skirts, bermuda shorts, regular clothing, full-coverage swimsuits, etc.).
Young children must wear swim diapers specifically designed for water use.
Wearing the wristband is mandatory.
Children who cannot swim must wear armbands at all times.
