Grand Lierne is a beautiful, shady campsite in the middle of nature.
Following the reviews from our customers, we invested a lot in 2018 and 2019 to expand the water park. In 2018 we added 2 large water slides. In 2019, we removed the existing pool cover and replaced it with a huge new cover of 936m². We kept the beautiful swimming pool below and added a second one!

Between Vercors and Provence, 15km from Valence, the Grand Lierne campsite proposes mobile home rentals.
The campsite has a beautiful water park comprising a heated waterslide (50 metres), 3 outdoor swimming pools (including 2 heated), a heated indoor pool, 2 heated paddling pools with play features for young children and, for adrenalin seekers, the thrilling Space Bowl, Racer and Double Slide!
From the campsite, you can enjoy a view of the Vercors cliffs, and go hiking in the Regional Nature Park. On foot or by mountain bike, you can take to the trails to explore this unspoilt environment. Visit Valence with its churches, fountains and cathedral. Just 20km away, you’ll find the historic Romans-sur-Isère with its medieval centre and culinary speciality, “ravioles”! The wine road, the lavender road and the olive road will take you discovering the natural riches to be found here, and villages such as Mirmande, listed as one of the most beautiful in France.

People have different expectations when it comes to their holidays. Some prefer quiet holidays where they spend time with family and relax. Others prefer sports and a party atmosphere.
With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.
No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.
On this campsite the Fun Dose is red. This means there is a lot of entertainment provided!
From 29th June to 28th August 2026, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children 4 days a week, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.
-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 entertainers, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!
-Entertainment on French campsites starts from the 8th July (in French). On Dutchbox campsites the French animation team includes 1 Dutch speaking entertainer.
In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 3rd July to 30th August 2026.

The Spacebowl is a sensational slide where you will move swiftly down a path to arrive in a large bowl. The winner is the person who makes the most laps! (Minimum height requirement : 1m20)
The Racer is a slide with three lanes for crazy, but safe, sliding fun! 3, 2, 1: the fastest person wins! Children between 6 and 16 years old will love this slide!
For the little ones, there is a play island with water slides where they can have their very first sliding experience. This small island is perfect for children aged between 3 and 6 years old, as the shallow water allows children to safely walk in the ent
A paddling pool complete with its own water slide, otherwise known as the snake, for children under the age of 6. Children can swim and slide in the safety of this attraction.
Ideal for children under 3 years of age, our colourful and playful paddling pool allows toddlers to experience the joys of swimming with their parents.
Your children will set off to board the Pirate Ship and explore its recesses! Sliding down the slides, and when the wind picks up, the adventure begins!
The Patau-splatch is a large, fun paddling pool for kids aged 2 to 6 years. Have fun sliding down three of its entertaining slides, burst out laughing underneath the huge bucket of water, and amuse yourselves by spraying each other with water from the jet

Please bring a swimsuit (brief or fitted boxer style). For hygiene reasons, long clothing is not allowed in the pools (shorts, underwear, wetsuits, swim skirts, bermuda shorts, regular clothing, full-coverage swimsuits, etc.).
Young children must wear swim diapers specifically designed for water use.
Wearing the wristband is mandatory.
Children who cannot swim must wear armbands at all times.
