In the heart of Ardèche, 35km from Valence, in the Eyrieux Valley, the Plantas campsite proposes rentals of mobile homes, chalets, gypsy caravans and fitted tents. Arranged in terraces, the campsite is bounded by the River Eyrieux. Take advantage of the private beach at the riverside with direct access from the campsite!
The campsite features a beautiful water park comprising a heated outdoor swimming pool, a heated indoor pool, a paddling pool of about 15m², another paddling pool with a children’s waterslide, and 2 waterslides for older children! Adrenalin addicts will love the Crazy Cone waterslide!
Ardèche is full of historic sites and villages like Chalencon and Beauchastel. Visit the Soyons Cave, a major archaeological site, Privas with its historical centre, or the Castle of La Volte sur Rhône. A host of sports activities are available too, from canoe and kayak descents of the Ardèche Gorges to walks and bike rides on the Dolce Via, a 45km itinerary stretching between Saint-Laurent-du-Pape and Le-Cheylard. Or you can go fishing on the river straight from the campsite!

PEAK SEASON : The fun dose
People have different expectations when it comes to their holidays. Some prefer quiet holidays where they spend time with family and relax. Others prefer sports and a party atmosphere.
With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.
No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.
On this campsite the fun dose is purple, the campsite is very lively.
From 6th July to 28th August 2026, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children 4 days a week, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
- The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up five times a week.
- 4 activity leaders are present on the campsite all summer. Aquatic wake-up call every morning, sports tournaments and friendly entertainment are organised all day long.
- 4 big evening events are organized per week and we will also surprise you with our top secret entertainment and the summer dance.
- Additionally, many evenings are hosted by hired entertainers and performers who provide high quality shows.
In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 3rd July to 30th August 2026.

Plantouille, at the ‘Les Plantas’ campsite in South France (Ardèche)
It was last year that we found Plantouille. Plantouille is a silly sausage. This big silly sausage that Plantouille is was sure that humans would mean no harm to him.
So he lived happily for the past 2 centuries. The locals wouldn’t be surprised to see him in the mornings at the baker’s or at the grocery shop.
Plantouille this lovely silly sausage carries on living in his little tower at the bottom of the Baronnies castle.

Aquatic fun for the whole family 🏊
For slide enthusiasts and thrill-seekers, our aquatic complex offers colourful water slides. Dare to try the Crazy Cone, a large slide that ends in a funnel for guaranteed excitement (minimum height required: 1m40)! While the children have fun in the water, adults can relax by the pools, enjoying the Ardèche sun.
Joyful and colourful animations, with our mascot and entertainers, punctuate the days around the outdoor pool, promising unforgettable moments for the whole family. After the effort, the reward: a sunny restaurant terrace is nearby for convivial meals. A true aquatic paradise for a successful holiday! 🌿

A paddling pool complete with its own water slide, otherwise known as the snake, for children under the age of 6. Children can swim and slide in the safety of this attraction.

Please bring a swimsuit (brief or fitted boxer style). For hygiene reasons, long clothing is not allowed in the pools (shorts, underwear, wetsuits, swim skirts, bermuda shorts, regular clothing, full-coverage swimsuits, etc.).
Young children must wear swim diapers specifically designed for water use.
Wearing the wristband is mandatory.
Children who cannot swim must wear armbands at all times.
