Camping Filament - Your holiday in Thoiras

Next to the Cévennes, 8.5km from Anduze 


Located on the edge of the Cévennes National Park, near Anduze and its famous Bamboo Grove, as well as Saint-Jean-du-Gard and its steam train, Le Domaine de Filament offers mobile home rentals.

 

You can enjoy two aquatic areas: one with an outdoor pool and a paddling pool for the little ones, and another with an indoor pool, Double Slide water slides, and a Spacebowl for unforgettable moments of fun and excitement.

 

Le Filament is ideally located to explore the region. In less than 30 minutes, you can discover numerous activities and sites that will delight both children and adults: hikes in the Cévennes National Park with family-friendly trails and stunning scenery of mountains, forests, and rivers, such as the Mont Aigoual Discovery Trail.

 

Just a few minutes from the campsite, you can also enjoy natural swimming spots in the Gardon de Mialet River or experience a fun family activity with donkey rides offered by several local farms.

 

The Cévennes Steam Train, just 15 minutes away, takes you on a scenic journey between Anduze and Saint-Jean-du-Gard, offering breathtaking landscapes along the way. The Bamboo Grove of Anduze, 20 minutes away, is an impressive exotic garden featuring giant bamboos, tropical greenhouses, and play areas for children. Only 25 minutes from the campsite, the Musée du Désert in Mialet immerses visitors in the history of Cévennes Protestantism through engaging and interactive exhibits.

 

For adventure lovers, the Parc Parfum d’Aventure in Générargues (25 minutes) offers a tree-top adventure park with courses suitable for all ages. The Trabuc Caves, 30 minutes away, provide a fascinating underground experience, showcasing lakes and impressive rock formations. You can also visit the Le Bois des Plumes Animal Park, located 30 minutes away near Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort, where you can meet animals in an educational and natural setting.

The youngest guests are not forgotten with our heated outdoor paddling pool, specially designed for them. It features a small slide, the Vipère, and safe water games, perfect for children under 6 years old. Parents can relax on the chairs by the water's edge, sometimes in the shade of pergolas, while the little ones play safely. 🌿

A paddling pool complete with its own water slide, otherwise known as the snake, for children under the age of 6. Children can swim and slide in the safety of this attraction.

Please bring a swimsuit (brief or fitted boxer style). For hygiene reasons, long clothing is not allowed in the pools (shorts, underwear, wetsuits, swim skirts, bermuda shorts, regular clothing, full-coverage swimsuits, etc.).
Young children must wear swim diapers specifically designed for water use.
Wearing the wristband is mandatory.
Children who cannot swim must wear armbands at all times.

Heated outdoor swimming pool
Our outdoor pools will be heated from Ascension Day until the campsite closes (30/08). Before Ascension Day, they will be heated depending on weather conditions.
