La Grande Cosse is a true little haven of peace! I especially loved exploring the vast natural surroundings and watching the pink flamingos. Its seaside location is perfect for taking beautiful walks while listening to the sound of the waves. Don’t miss a visit to the historic village of Fleury and the Port des Cabanes — both are must-sees. With your feet in the water and your head among the vineyards, it’s such a delight to wander through the market of Saint-Pierre-la-Mer! My favorite accommodation: the Lebech with garrigue view, perfect for watching the sunset!

The Grande Cosse seaside heliotherapy centre is famous for the therapeutic properties of the marine salts and trace elements found at this protected natural site. This European listing aims to protect natural areas, on land or at sea, identified as being home to rare or vulnerable species of wildlife or vegetation. 

 

The campsite features a water park comprising 3 heated swimming pools, a double waterslide, and a heated paddling pool that young children will love. Crazy Cone waterslide. Just 480 metres away, the beach is easy to reach by bike via a vehicle-free track that leads straight to it. This beautiful beach is perfect for families, because the shallow sea gets deeper very gradually, making it easy for children to enter the water.

 

Ideal for a whole host of activities, you’ll love this wonderful region whether you’re planning an energetic campsite holiday or some restful peace and quiet during your stay. Take a ride on the little tourist train of Saint Pierre to admire the seafront and the surrounding area. For the sportier, rent a mountain bike and go exploring the region. Enjoy walks in the vineyards and around the lagoons.  Try watersports like waterskiing, kitesurfing, paddleboarding or kayaking. And stroll around the typical markets of the Languedoc Roussillon region, like St. Pierre market or the “Lo Vilatge” market halls.

With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.

No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.

 

On this campsite the Fun Dose is red. This means there is a lot of entertainment provided!

From 6th July to 28th August 2026, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:

-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children 4 days a week, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. 

-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.

-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 entertainers, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!

-Entertainment on French campsites starts from the 8th July (in French). On Dutchbox campsites the French animation team includes 1 Dutch speaking entertainer.

In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 3rd July to 30th August 2026.

Please bring a swimsuit (brief or fitted boxer style). For hygiene reasons, long clothing is not allowed in the pools (shorts, underwear, wetsuits, swim skirts, bermuda shorts, regular clothing, full-coverage swimsuits, etc.).
Young children must wear swim diapers specifically designed for water use.
Wearing the wristband is mandatory.
Children who cannot swim must wear armbands at all times.
