In Charente Maritime, between the Wild Coast and the Gironde Estuary, the Coquelicots campsite can be found in Royan, just 2.5km from the centre and the beach. Comfortable mobile homes are available for rent.
The campsite has a heated water park with 2 outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool, 2 waterslides and a fun pool for young children. Space Bowl slide! (minimum height 1.2 metres)
The seaside town of Royan is located in one of the sunniest regions of France. It has a succession of sandy beaches and forests that make perfect terrain for sports activities. Officially a “Town of Art & History”, it boasts a rich cultural and architectural heritage, as well as a natural environment that promises bike rides and walks galore. It is also a venue for major cultural events such as the “Violon sur le Sable” festival.
There’s a multitude of natural and historic sites waiting to be discovered: Cordouan Lighthouse, the conserved Gallo-Roman buildings of Saintes, and La Rochelle with its towers and superb port.

PEAK SEASON : The fun dose
People have different expectations when it comes to their holidays. Some prefer quiet holidays where they spend time with family and relax. Others prefer sports and a party atmosphere.
With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.
No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.
On this campsite the fun dose is purple, the campsite is very lively.
From 6th July to 28th August 2026, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children 4 days a week, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
- The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up five times a week.
- 4 activity leaders are present on the campsite all summer. Aquatic wake-up call every morning, sports tournaments and friendly entertainment are organised all day long.
- 4 big evening events are organized per week and we will also surprise you with our top secret entertainment and the summer dance.
- Additionally, many evenings are hosted by hired entertainers and performers who provide high quality shows.
In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 3rd July to 30th August 2026.

The Spacebowl is a sensational slide where you will move swiftly down a path to arrive in a large bowl. The winner is the person who makes the most laps! (Minimum height requirement : 1m20)
A paddling pool complete with its own water slide, otherwise known as the snake, for children under the age of 6. Children can swim and slide in the safety of this attraction.
Ideal for children under 3 years of age, our colourful and playful paddling pool allows toddlers to experience the joys of swimming with their parents.
Opening hours of the water park High Season : 09:30 AM - 8:00 PM
Opening hours of the water park Low Season : 09:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Please bring a swimsuit (brief or fitted boxer style). For hygiene reasons, long clothing is not allowed in the pools (shorts, underwear, wetsuits, swim skirts, bermuda shorts, regular clothing, full-coverage swimsuits, etc.).
Young children must wear swim diapers specifically designed for water use.
Wearing the wristband is mandatory.
Children who cannot swim must wear armbands at all times.
