What a beautiful campsite! I love the breathtaking view over the valley and the magnificent water park! Don’t hesitate to enjoy a drink on the shaded terrace of the restaurant! The whole team will take great care of you during these wonderful and memorable holidays! Please note that the campsite is very steep. It is well suited for families, teenagers and children, but less suitable for very young children or people with reduced mobility.
In the Rhône Valley, 20 km from Montélimar and 30 km from Valence, Camping Le Merle Roux offers mobile home rentals on a hilly site.
The campsite features a water park with 2 outdoor swimming pools, 1 outdoor paddling pool, 1 indoor pool, and 4 slides for older children including the Spacebowl, as well as 2 slides for the enjoyment of younger children!
Ideally located less than 10 minutes from the motorway exit, at the foot of the mountains, the campsite offers stunning views over the countryside. At the gateway to Provence, the Cévennes and the Massif Central, the Ardèche is full of exceptional natural sites such as the Chauvet Cave, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Aven d’Orgnac. Discover its many characterful villages such as Antraigues-sur-Volane and Beauchastel. Admire majestic landscapes including the Pont d’Arc, Mont Gerbier de Jonc, Lake Issarlès, as well as many troglodyte sites in Ardèche. Finally, enjoy a canoe or kayak trip down the Ardèche Gorges!

With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.
No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.
On this campsite the Fun Dose is red. This means there is a lot of entertainment provided!
From 6th July to 28th August 2026, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children 4 days a week, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.
-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 entertainers, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!
-Entertainment on French campsites starts from the 8th July (in French). On Dutchbox campsites the French animation team includes 1 Dutch speaking entertainer.
In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 3rd July to 30th August 2026.
